Tennis Racque FAQ
Open Question: in tennis what is the rule if you or your racquet hit the net?
Open Question: What brand of tennis racquets should I buy?
I'm not a beginner nor an advanced player. I'm in between and looking for a good racquet for my HS tennis matches. My price limit would be $300. Some of the choices I was thinking of are Head, Yonex, and Babolat. And I refuse to use Wilson due to past experiences.
Open Question: Which is a better racquet?
I'm a girl on JV tennis. I can swing hard (not that hard), but then i need a racket that's light and with stability These are the two rackets that i narrowed down to & they're the same price but then i don't know which racket to get: http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpage-PXOBKT.html OR http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Babolat_AeroPro_Lite_GT/descpageRCBAB-BAPLGT.html Which should i choose, and why? :P
Open Question: What can I do about my wrist pain?
Here is a little background first. I'm 17, I had a huge ganglion cyst (around 3 cm) and took up most of my wrist. This irritated my tendons, it was growing inside a bone, and pretty much wrapped around my wrist. I had surgery to remove it in December of 2008. As of June 2009, a lot of scar tissue built up. So my wrist has been getting pains here and there. I went to the doctor, got more MRIs and so on and he said it's still after surgery pain. This was back in November of 2009. Well I just started tennis today for the first time and I hold my racquet with the hand I got surgery on. And right now it is feeling like complete crap. I was in a lot of pain after practice and now it is so so. Just tight and stiff. What can I do about this pain? Is there anything I can put on to help the pain? My brother suggested I see the athletic trainer and get it wrapped. Would that do much? What can I do to prevent it from feeling any worse? I'm a little afraid to be driving home from practice now because I can't grip that well now. HELP?
Resolved Question: How does the tennis racquet pure storm gt compare with the pure storm gt limited?
How does the two racquets compare i know that the pure storm gt is 98 sq in. and the limited is 95 but how exactly are the two different in terms of power, control, forgiveness, spin, depth, and weight.
