Tennis Racque FAQ
Open Question: What size Tennis Racquet am I?
I'm fifteen years old so I'm in the 'adult' sizes. But everything else confuses me. I'm only 5ft, the inches from my middle hand crease to the end of my ring finger is 3.8 inches, and my wieght is around 118. All the websites i've been to are confusing me because it says stuff like, 'If you are 5"0 are are in the junior sizes' and so on; mixing everything up. Can you help, please?
Open Question: Looking to Buy a New Tennis Racquet: about a 3.5 Skill Level?
I am looking to purchase a new tennis racket. I a 23 year old male will a skill level of approximately 3.5. I am looking for the best racket below $200. To give you an idea of my playing level I will rate myself out of 10 in various categories (5 being the where an average 3.5 would be). Power: 6.5 Accuracy: 4.5 (miss long more than short) Swing length: 5 (i would think pretty much average) I would assume I want a racquet between 100 and 112 inches Currently I do not put much spin of the ball but I am working on using more top spin so I dont hit it as far. I understand I should try out racquets use one that is comfortable, but I want some advice. I am looking for the best racquet under $200 for an intermediate player with a fairly neutral game (average marriage of power and control). Also, I am not positive how tight it should be stung or where it should be weighted. Please give me some advice. Thanks
Open Question: in tennis what is the rule if you or your racquet hit the net?
Resolved Question: What brand of tennis racquets should I buy?
I'm not a beginner nor an advanced player. I'm in between and looking for a good racquet for my HS tennis matches. My price limit would be $300. Some of the choices I was thinking of are Head, Yonex, and Babolat. And I refuse to use Wilson due to past experiences.
Open Question: Which is a better racquet?
I'm a girl on JV tennis. I can swing hard (not that hard), but then i need a racket that's light and with stability These are the two rackets that i narrowed down to & they're the same price but then i don't know which racket to get: http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpage-PXOBKT.html OR http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Babolat_AeroPro_Lite_GT/descpageRCBAB-BAPLGT.html Which should i choose, and why? :P
